The opportunity Caribbean nations have had to get their cyber security houses in order has officially ended.   In recent years we have seen a significant rise in the number of Cyber crimes occurring across the region which continues to rise.  Additionally as we seek to expand internet access to all corners of the region we must ensure that Caribbean children are made aware of the many dangers that exist on the internet noting the over 1,000,000 known cyber predators that exist today who cross borders.

To assist the region in responding to this growing cyber threat we have assembled a team of Caribbean and International Cyber Security Consultants under a new organization called the "Caribbean Cyber Security Center (CCSC)”, which is based in Barbados. 

CCSC is committed to the belief that the protection of Caribbean Children  & Public\Private Sector Information and Communication Infrastructures from cyber predators and criminals is one of the most serious challenges facing our region.
